We like method. They make nice things in a nice way. They asked us if we'd mind putting up a blog post about their search for some new recruits and we said yes.
Take it away method:
join the fight against dirty at method. We’re recruiting for interns (in sales, marketing & operations). Based in Richmond, London.
In 2000, method’s founders took on the goliaths of the cleaning world with a big idea: reposition cleaning to home care by combining style & substance through the mega-trends of design and green…and they built a brand that quickly became the usa & uk’s leading brand in green household cleaning. We have big growth plans & are looking for ‘interns against dirty’ to help spread the method word with our retailers & consumers and to help us make and deliver great products on time and in full.
As well as the basics, these roles call for a creative, energetic, analytical, and self-starting graduate or undergraduate with the flexibility to manage and master a diverse, ever-changing and interesting workload... and the ability to add to the team vibe in our office is just as important (hint: can you catch a Frisbee?) You'll get the opportunity to run your own project which will make a real difference to our business, all whilst still wearing shorts and flip flops.
We’re very passionate about what we do (as are our consumers), so, if you’ll love hearing ‘you’ve changed my life with your toilet cleaner’, this could be the job for you.
To apply:
Please email a cover letter & cv to officeangel@methodhome.com – don’t forget to tell us why you want to fight dirty, what your favourite product is & send a photo of it in action"

Do you know your HTML from your kerning?
Can you tell us what's wrong with the type below? Are you able to juggle 117 different things at once whilst having a conversation about what you had for your dinner?
If your answer is a resounding yes then we'd love to hear from you. Check our careers section for more details.
We’ve got a couple of vacancies in our in-house creative team here at Fruit Towers so we’re on the look out for some highly creative minds to help us come up with great packaging, branding, advertising and campaign ideas.
The two spots available are...
Head of Design, looking after our team of 5 designers, delivering all of the above and more.
Designer - a smart middleweight designer who has experience across print, packaging and generating great ideas.
If you think either of these could be you or just want some more info, check out our jobs page and apply here. Good luck.
We have a vacancy here at fruit towers, and it's a very important vacancy.
Each week, lots of our drinkers get in touch with us. Nice folk that we are, we like to get back to them, and we have a team of people's champions here dedicated to doing just that. We need a new person to join this team.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about innocent. We're looking for someone who can write brilliant emails. We're looking for someone with a lovely phone manner and bucket loads of creativity. We're looking for the lid to the milk, it was just there a minute ago (how does it always do that?), but that's beside the point.
If you think you've got what it takes to be the champion of all of our consumers, then find out more and apply here. The closing date for applications is 8th November, and we're looking for the best of the best. Good luck.
We're looking for a new Digital Manager. It's pretty much the most exciting job at Fruit Towers - being in charge of how innocent does digital. Building websites, tending to the social media garden, creating campaigns and generally showing us how the future looks. If it's a job that you like the sound of, have a look at the full description here. And feel free to tell your friends, family and that man who lives next door with the big computer.
Here's the thing.
You hire great people. They work really hard. They get promoted. And then you need even more great people to come and fill their shoes.
It's what HR types call a circle of win win.
And that's the sort of situation we're in right now.

Thanks to a recent spate of promotions, we've looking for some sparky, on-the-ball types to come and join our sales team as commercial account executives.
With a catchy title like that, ideally we're after people who are looking for their second sales job. Whether that's a year's work placement somewhere or experience working as part of a crack core FMCG 'I-don't-eat-lunch' team, if you're into sales and fancy a new challenge, then this role might be right up your street.

There's more information on the role right here. Deadline for applications in Monday 22nd November and you'll need to be available for an assessment centres the first week of December.
And who knows?
Next year you too could end up in aspirational motivational posters just like this one.
We're looking for a couple of people to come and help us keep Fruit Towers in ship shape, tip top condition and make sure all the fun stuff keeps happening.

Like the time we managed to fit 35 people into the post room
Or the day we rolled back the roof, turned the hosepipe on and made a massive paddling pool in the chill out area.
First up, we're looking for an Office Angel to be the face and voice of innocent. From welcoming our visitors and answering the bananaphone to helping our People's Champions with getting back to all our drinkers, you'll need a winning smile, the best banter this side of Chat City and the ability to juggle a myriad of jobs. Like taking care of all the little but vital touches like birthday cakes, summer lunches, welcome packs on new starters desks, smoothies for when you're feeling poorly and organising the odd party or two.
We're also looking for a Mother Hen/Father Rooster (a.k.a Office Manager) to cover our Jenny W while she's away on maternity leave. As well as making sure the office runs like clockwork and managing a team of 5 excellent people, you'll be looking after budgets, making sure everything looks beautiful and being the stand in parent when it doesn't.
Both people need to be of cheery, kind and exceptionally well organised dispositions. And get on well with Ian the builder.
So if that sounds like you or you know someone who fits the bill just right, then check out the job specs right here.
This blog seems like the best place to be talking about a
particular new job opening at innocent, our new Media Planning and Communications Manager. For the right person, we think it's
going to be a very special opportunity - a chance to shape the way that we
communicate.
Richard (co-founder) describes it thus:
"I'm looking for a person to come to work at innocent
as our media and communications expert. It is a role that is both wide and deep
- it encompasses both being manager of our existing 'house media' channels i.e.
managing our in-house PR resource, our digital platforms and team, and our
healthcare professional communications, and also being the person working with
our media agency and brand managers to determine the best use of our media
money - working out what we should be spending on what and how, covering
everything from emerging media to old school telly and everything in
between."
Stuff that this person will be doing:
- Communication planning and execution
- Creative development in a commercial context
- Understanding digital and health communications
- Managing people (three of them, all very smart)
- Project and cost management
Some other stuff...
This person will report into our
Marketing Director (Thomas - a lovely man) and we need applications by 25th
September, please. No recruitment agencies please (we're looking after this one
ourselves).
The full job ad is now up on our vacancies page.
And you can have a look at the application process here. Good luck.
We've just finished updating the brand spanking new careers at innocent bit of this website. It seemed to be a sensible thing to do as the jobs pages always seem to be the most popular part of the site (other than the information on our drinks naturally).
We take careers stuff very seriously over here, so the new section contains a lot more in depth information on how we believe in doing business where you can watch a video of Rich talking turkey. Plus a section on life at innocent and your potential new career.
Oh, and all of the very latest career opportunities both in the UK and internationally (we update these pages very regularly so you can be sure all the roles you see are still available). We've even made it a lot easier to apply with a new online application form.
Why not have a look and see if there's anything that catches your eye. If not there might be something you could forward to a friend, or a friend of a friend. Or your second cousin Eddy, who's got a lot of get up and go and is pretty hot with all things career like.

We're looking for a talented undergraduate or recent graduate web designer to come and join us here at Fruit Towers on a placement from September to December. If you're keen as mustard and are all of the following things, we'd love to hear from you...
undergraduate or recent graduate
available to work in West London from the start of September through to the end of December
great knowledge of Photoshop along with advanced knowledge in HTML (hands on coding not Dreamweaver we're afraid) and hopefully some PHP/ COLDFUSION type stuff
good understanding of the innocent brand and style
good eye for design alongside proven production skills (previous internship experience at a digital agency or in-house team is going to be a distinct selling point)
excellent attention to detail
ability to pick up on guidance quickly, take initiative, work hard and muck-in on a consistent basis
available for a chat at Fruit Towers with your portfolio in the next couple of weeks
To manage your expectations, if you want to spend your summer dreaming up award-winning online campaigns and making nice flash animations, this isn’t the placement for you. But if you want to get some great industry experience working as part of a respected in-house creative team, are prepared to learn quickly, work hard and muck in with a wide variety of tasks, then please drop us an email below.
So that you know, these are some of the things you’d be doing...
updating our pinboard, flickr groups and youtube channel on a regular basis
updating our innocent foundation site
producing banners, eflyers and other bits and pieces for some of our online campaigns
learning new stuff everyday
scanning, cropping and photoshopping images
archiving old work on our site that we haven't had a chance to yet (newsletters/ label archive etc)
joining in with ideas on other creative projects
sitting in some meetings with a notepad and pen now and again
working in Shepherds Bush (west London) from 9am-6pm Monday to Friday with some nice people
If this sounds right for you, please send an up to date CV along with some examples of your recent work (URLs would be best) and a bit about why you'd like the placement to: innocent.web.intern@gmail.com
It would be ideal if you could get in contact with us as soon as possible – we're starting to look at CVs from today, so the sooner you apply to sooner we'll look at you. So that you know, we definitely won't be taking applications after 9am on Friday 24th August 2007.
Apologies in advance if we can't reply to you all but we'll do our best.
