Sorry to be pedantic, but that's a coot! Moorhens are the ones that have red bits on their heads, while coots have white bits, hence the saying "Bald as a coot". They are closely related, though.

OK - entry for bottle (xxxxxx) that's bottom but I can't write that. Here goes: "If you want your bottom as flat as this - do sit ups" BTW, to vet Verbranden - if confused as to whether a Coot or Moorhen - we simply refer to them as "Moots" - it's easier and we've discovered a new species. Sarah
