hmmm.... a helipad isn't so green is it?

Emergency helipads are ok. and when your not using them you can grow things on them!

If the world is at an end what good is a helipad, whatever colour it is?

You're right Barrie, it's not much use at all. There's a lovely view from up there though.

So if the world is going to end, I take it helicopters are immune to being blown up?

I should exit via the canal, preferably in a horse drawn barge. Much less chance of being noticed by the aliens/invading forces and definitely a nicer way to go.

This entire page makes me want to do a little celebratory dance!

So where are the nuclear bunkers, surface-to-air missiles and sentry guns? Haha. That's a cool house by the way, with all those modern gizmos around,your life could be a lot easier.
