This little baby snowman was made with love and paperclips by one of our friends on twitter this morning.
He inspired Kat and Charlie H to sack off work and build a slightly larger, more adolescent yet equally stationery based snow brother.
And then everyone else decided to spend their lunch hour building the beast that is the ugliest grandaddy of snowmen this side of Shepherd's Bush.
Here's how they did it.
Stage 1: Preparation
Roll a massive ball of snow round the car park.
Stage 2: Rest
Or take a break for snow angel making.
Stage 3: Push
Hard.
Stage 4: Add some final touches
Stage 5: Stand back and admire your creation
Think you've done a better job? Well, upload your photos to this flickr group and the most original will win a super chilled box of our finest drinks.
(If you're on twitter, remember to add the #bestUKsnowman tag too.)
Excellent work guys!

Building a snowman...at work...such frivolities shouldn't be allowed! You will forgive me for not doing the same, but the last time I attempted this I broke my leg and have been somewhat affraid of the cold stuff ever since. I did try to reach some from my drive, without actually having to go out, but there wasn't much. So I made more of a snowfoetus - you know, the stage before it would actually be recognisable. I took a picture but can't seem to download it correctly! Technology can be so stupid sometimes. I'd ask the 4 year old from next door to help me, but he's gone out with his Mum, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
Have fun...and don't break a leg! :-)
