Ooh, them there Vegpots look right tasty. Can you just tell me how many grammes in a pot so I can work out the entire nutritional value of a pot from the info you have helpfully provided on your website? And how much are they?

how many grammes per pot?

There are 400g, so you need to times the nutritional info on the website by 4.

They are low fat (less than 3% fat) and high fibre.

Give us a few days and we'll add the per pot amounts to the website as well, so you don't need to work it out.

Hi Joanna.

We've now updated each tasty veg pot web page to show the nutritional info per 100g, per pot and as a percentage of your Guideline Daily Amount.

Ted

And how much are they retailing for? (My nearest Waitrose is 15 miles away, so I'm trying to decide whether to make a special journey now or practise patience till they hit some closer supermarkets!)

They're retailing for £3.49 normally, but at the moment they are £1 off in Waitrose, so you can get them at an intro price.

I'm rather sad to see that innocent is using fish sauce in one of the new veg pots. I have always seen innocent as a company that makes products suitable for vegetarians and I'm shocked that their new venture into the new veg world is dependent upon the use of animals.

I am currently chomping merrily down on my first ever veg pot - the terrific Tuscan Bean Stew.

It is utterly delightful and makes a great change to the usual boring old supermarket sandwich. There is a Waitrose opposite my nearest train station - I'll be stepping out earlier than usual so I can grab one of these beauties on my way to work.

Great job as usual, Innocent chaps and chapesses! x

Quick question: I know they are probably best eaten fresh on the same day brought etc but how long will they last in the fridge or can they even be frozen. They sound lovely for those nights when I can't summond up the energy to cook and if one was sitting in the freezer waiting for me it might stop that fattening trip to the takeaway!

I couldn't find them in Waitrose on Marylebone High Street when I went in on Monday: which aisle do I need to search?

Where in the store?

Veg pots are with the chilled soups in store.

I don't think that we are in the Marylebone High St Waitrose though (we are in around 70% of their stores and the store managers decide which ones rather than us). If you'd like it in Marylebone, you can ask them to get it for you. Otherwise we are in Waitrose on High St Ken, the Kings Road, John Lewis in Oxford St, Canary Wharf, Wandsworth, Balham, Gloucester Rd, Putney, Finchley, Brent Cross... ooh that's lots that are a bit near, hopefully one is near you. You can call our bananaphone to find out more stores.

They seem quite high in sugar!?
