We had a fantastic weekend at the fete. We hope you did too, even though there were some slightly damp moments. Post your own photos on the fete flickr group when you have a moment - here are some of our favourites so far...

We had the most fantastic time.
The only thing we would change is PLEASE more face painting. So many people stopped us and asked where our children had their faces done and the poor woman was worked to death!
Thnaks so much for everything!

This is my 2nd year to innocent fete! Still brilliant! With all the foods and gigs for whole day, just great!
Love the games and prices for the kids. Will definitely come back next year!

WOULD BACK THE COMMENTS RE FACEPAINTING - SHE WAS FANTASTIC BUT POOR WOMAN WAS RUN OF HER FEET.

The face paints I saw were really nicely done. Being a face painter myself I know how it can be with a massive queue of kiddies hopping from one foot to another and tugging mum and dad's arm. My hat off to her if she really was the only one at the whole fete! If you need another face painter for next year .... wink, wink.

Obviously came on the better day weather wise, only 1 short shower on Saturday.
Fantastic day, great fun definatley coming again. (just a shame we'll have to wait another year.)
Well done to all at Innocent. Pulling all of that together, no matter how great the organisational skills,is no mean feat.Perhaps a pay rise should be in the offing??

Great event - first time at fete (but had been to the Fruitstock event prior) and thought it was great to have so much versatility and fun in the one place. Would suggest that the WellBeing area should be expanded and be more interactive (like the rest of the event) - may be 'free Tai Chi' at three!

Second year and it was fantastic. Wonderful food and atmosphere. The book tombola was a good idea. There wasn't much organic cider this year - disappointing. There weren't so many competitions this year (guess the weight of the cake etc). Not only the face painter was overworked - the 2 ladies serving the nice coffee from the back of their little van found it difficult to cope resulting in half hour queues for a coffeeI missed the welly wanging - must have been rescheduled due to the rain. Can't wait for next year!!
