Day one of the fete was a belter - it ended up being a beautiful evening. Sunday tickets are available on the gate, on sale from 10am. See you in the park...

This year was so much better than 2007. There were much fewer people and, whilst the day still had the buzzing atmosphere, you could actually find somewhere to sit and eat your lunch! Brilliant day out!! I don't know if tickets were more limited this year or if the weather forecast put some people off, but take note Innocent... this was the best one yet! It's all about Crowd Control!!!

Loved my visit on Saturday - the highlight was Fairey Brass band's acid brass but everything else was lovely, chilled out and amazingly fete like! And the OJ was lovely

i loved the fete, a little damp on sunday though, nevermind!
my only complaint is how difficult the fete is to find when you get in to the park, more sighs next year please!

I had a great day on Saturday - weather wasn't as fab as the previous year but I spose there was nothing you could do about that ;-)
Covered what I thought at the whole thing on my blog post:
and added to pix to Flickr pool.
