Today has been tough for our Ben. Not only is it the day after Sunday, when people feel tired and confused, it's also the day when he put odd shoes on before he left the house. He assures us that it's not a fashion thing; it's a cock up. Poor Ben.

Ben it must be the day for it. I jumped on a train I thought was bound for East Didsbury (10 mins away). It wasn't. It was for Newcastle (a couple of hours away). Thankfully I found out in time.

I did this a few weeks ago. i was in a rush to catch the bus for a big night out, and couldnt decide on what shoes to wear so tried one of each on with my jeans, then got distracted and ended up leaving the house like it!

i once lost one of my shoes as i was getting on the tube -it fell on the tracks under the train. not a good look, hobbling around london with one foot shod and one foot unshod. and in the middle of winter too. silly girl.

Oh bless you. I went to work a few months ago in black court shoes, one with a coloured bit and one plain black. Did I feel silly once my assistant noticed and told everyone!!! I now feel better as I am clearly in good company.

Ah Ben! I've never done anything like this before (reading the comments you'd think it was a daily occurence!). I did however leave my house in my slippers though.

Ben I could swear you've done this before... wasn't one of your MMM facts about you putting on the wrong shoes or socks... I think JT is right...
