The last we heard of Scouting for Girls they had just signed a big big record deal (after we hand picked them from unsigned obscurity as joint winners of our 2006 fruitstock talent search).
Well would you know it they've now got into the top ten with their new single 'She's So Lovely' (video above). How good is that?
Their debut album is out next week. Keep on going boys, top of the pops next. Oh they stopped showing that didn't they. Popworld on T4?
I'm going to see them on Thursday after hearing about them at Fruitstock last year then hearing their new single :) I'll be buying their album next week too.
Go innocent for introducing Scouting for Girls to me!

AmyV - The Warm were excellent, I bought their CD :)
Scouting For Girls were amazing, and the girls at innocent have very good taste as the lead singer is eminently fanciable ;)
Can't wait till the album comes out on Monday!

We might be blowing our own trumpets a bit too much if we claimed to 'discover' Scouting For Girls to be honest Lara.
They were a very well formed little package with heaps of potential when we first heard their demo. Their success is wholly down to thier own talent and hard work we think.
We are extremely happy to be associated with them from the early days though (when they still worked in Threshers, had no record deal, and a tour bus was a days outing to South End on Sea on National Express).
Let's hope the album does as well as the single has next week.

I'm a little bit annoyed actually, my girlfriend completely loves them more than I could imagine, even dragging me to see them in Southampton (which was superb).. I've defo been ousted from top spot in her eyes..
