Sorry to hear that you didn't quite make it. But I'm writing to say I can't help but admire and love innocent just a little bit more after this post.
In a similar situation, after making quite a noise announcing your "attempt to break the world record for the longest bunting in the world", another company would have found a way of making the rest themselves one way or another, for fear of losing face. Admitting failure (in whatever area) is not commonly seem as good marketing.
Your "humble" post and the attitude behind it are immensely inspirational.
Thank you for that.
And if you're up for trying it again next year, I'll be very happy to sew a few triangles together.
