A funny story...

At lunchtime today I found a very tempting chocolate and pear cake left on the above table. Having the same lack of knifing problem as Lauren I searched unit 1 for a suitable replacement. I returned with a £1 off voucher made from sturdy card and cut myself a good piece of cake.

At this point I was suddenly struck my an all consuming fear that this cake wasn't meant for general consumption but was in fact a circle of death cake. I tried to mould it back together again but it just didn't work.

Then Nicky came by and confirmed my worst fears, I'd eaten someone’s birthday cake.

She was joking of course.

Strange sense of humour that Nicky.

Good cake though. It was worth it in the end.

Excellent choice of cutting implement! Safer than a knife and just as accurate. I shall use a ruler next time I chop up cake for fellow scoffers.

Hats off innocenters....

Happy Birthday Lauren and Rachel!
