Our big new cartons for kids arrived today. We've been working on them for quite a while. Very happy to finally see them in the flesh, full of crushed up fruit.
They're my favourite bit of innocent packaging so far. Lots of colour, especially on the side panels, which are full of stuff for small people to do.
And there's a little window on the side as well, so you can see how many portions of fruit you've drunk. We've waited for ages to be able to do the window thing. And now it's done. Double happiness.
What do you think of them?
The window is genius. Really smart. I can immediately see that we're going to be cutting the tops off finished cartons and building something that features the windows. Maybe some version of the Justice League's Watchtower - Green Lantern could peer out of the windows.
Er. Anyway. Good job.

I have just tried the Apples and Blackcurrents kids smoothie, (It was on offer in the supermarket, so I thought I would!) Anyway, I can't get over how disgustingly sweet it is - surely it's not good for kiddleywinks to consume something with so much fruit sugar in it?

Sorry you didn't like them John. Each of the little kids' cartons contains two and a half pressed apples, four grapes, a quarter of a crushed banana and seven pressed blackcurrants. That's it. Nothing else. Of course, all of this fruit means that the drink does contain natural fruit sugars. Just like the fruits themselves do. So if you wouldn't give your kids this much fruit then it follows that you're probably not going to give them this drink.
Kids seem to like the taste (this recipe was designed specifically for them, and not for an adult palate), and seeing as they're getting all of that fruit, we reckon it's a good thing. Every other kids' drink on the market has something nasty added - we take pride in the fact that we're the only people making 100% natural, no added sugar, no sweeteners, no additive drinks for kids.
