This week’s hat was sent in by Susan C’s knitting group from Kent. We love the use of different kinds of wool and think the little bobbles remind us of gooseberries. The black strands which are neatly interwoven into the hat also make for an elegant design. This creation wouldn’t look out of place on the catwalk.
We’re getting a little stuck for hat-of-the week themes now. We’d love to know if you have any bright ideas.

Nice hat, and did you know you can get kids to knit them too: using a French Knitter: very easy!

One of the best smoothie recipes this year (for me) and a fantastic gooseberry coloured hat of the week.

I love this hat. The person who made it obviously put a lot of time and thought into it.

Some of the hats on here are incredible - do they all get used on the bottles or are some of the most imaginative ones kept somewhere special? They could be auctioned to raise even more money for Age Concern.

Its the season of all things rock and goth on the catwalk. How about a black one with skulls and bows??

this hat is ultra neat!!. I piked up a few for the kids. I think the littlest one took them all for herself. Once i have enough evidence to convict her, I'm gonna make her pay dearly.
Thanks innocent!
