a short film about the innocent AGM 2008

the innocent AGM

This may well be one of the last blog posts we make about our 2008 innocent AGM so we'll keep it short and sweet.

We've just finished making a short film about the day. Here it is.

Told you, short and sweet.

questionnaire competition: the winners

the innocent AGM

A few weeks ago we asked you to fill in one of our highly technical AGM questionnaires, and upload the finshed version to Flickr (or fill in the online version).  It was also a bit of a competition, and now we're very excited to announce the lucky winners.

Best fruit drawing

Sandra

Sandra1

This should really be drawings, as Sandra took this part quite seriously.  As well as suggesting lots of great new stuff for us, she annotated each bullet with a different fruit.

Best suggestion

Katy

Katy was the clear winner of this one with her suggestion to get David Tennant on our labels.  Just so you know Katy, we've started a petition about this at Fruit Towers, and we'll let you know how it goes.  For now, here's a picture.

Best overall questionnaire

Claire

This prize goes to Claire, on two counts: her answers were brilliant, and she made the questionnaire into the shape of a boat, complete with an avocado flag.  We've got a couple of questions for Claire.  Who is your friend with the great hat?  And is that your boat behind you?

So there you are.  We'll be in touch with the winners very soon, and thank you very much to everyone for entering.  We really enjoyed reading them all.

a few more nice people we met

the innocent AGM

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get polaroids of everyone who came along to our AGM but here's a selection of some of the lovely people I did get to meet and who kindly agreed to be papped.

Hello

ted, our blogging hero

This is Ted.

Ted_2

Ted is in charge of our blog.  When we came up with the idea for the AGM, Ted said that we should blog about it, lots.  So he did.  In the last few weeks Ted has made sure that we wrote no less than 42 blog posts and 293 Twitters about the AGM.  On the actual day Ted was glued to his laptop, twittering and blogging for everyone that couldn't be there in person.

Here are three things that you probably didn't know about Ted:

-Today Ted is wearing purple and green stripy socks

-He was born in Haverfordwest, in Wales

-Ted isn't actually his real name

Ted_blogging

So we'd like to say thanks to Ted.  The AGM wouldn't have happened without him.

p.s A case of smoothies will go to the person who can guess Ted's real name.  You've got until Friday 2nd May at 9am to post your answers as comments, and then Ted will draw all the correct answers out of a hat.

what did the AGM look like through the eyes of a fish?

the innocent AGM

A little bit like this.

Thanks to Felix for his kind write up about his own experience on Saturday and the great fish eye pictures (which he has also just added to our AGM flickr group).

We'll stop raving on about the AGM soon. Promise.

happy birthday suve

the innocent AGM

This is Suve. Suve (which he says is like 'soup' with a 'v') came along to our AGM on Saturday, even though it was his birthday. We thought this was pretty impressive, so we asked Gina to bake him a cake. Suve approved of the cake, and says that it made it home to York in one piece. He'd also like to point out that he is wearing his birthday jumper in this photo.

new friends

the innocent AGM

Generally we try not to be too soppy, but this made us smile.  Will and Katie made friends at the AGM, and then went to the pub afterwards.  Here are their golden bottles enjoying a quiet moment together.

Thanks for sending in that photo Will.

Alice's wonderful cupcakes.  Thanks Alice.

Our favourite tea. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Taylor's of Harrogate for the tea and biscuits.  They went down an absolute storm.

Have a look in our AGM flickr group for even more pictures of the big day.

our annual report

the innocent AGM

At the end of today we gave all of our AGM attendees a lovingly prepared annual report to read on the bus home. It will also be available for download here from Monday. Here's a preview of just a few of the pages.

Dsc02329

Dsc02330

Always say hello.

Dsc02333

An over view of our approach to business. The use of coloured pencils being fundamental to it.

Dsc02335

Some information about our innocent foundation, and the picture I took of Andrew D.

Dsc02337

This is a very important page.

Dsc02340

We had to put in a page using a chart in order to be eligible to enter the Best Annual Report of the year awards. This is that page, with a beard twist.

Dsc02342

Another fundamental rule of innocent, always say thank you.

Dsc02343

The end. (The pages wouldn't stay down so I had to hold it shut).

thanks for coming

the innocent AGM

The last of the cake has been eaten and everyone has gone home.

Thanks so much to for coming along, for asking such great questions, for drinking lots of tea, for being really friendly and for making our first AGM so very brilliant.

We'll definitely be doing it again.

Same time. Same place. Next year.
