surf's not up

Unlike the Severn Bore near Minsterworth the canal that runs alongside Fruit Towers does't get much surf, this Moorhen didn't get the memo.

Sorry to be pedantic, but that's a coot! Moorhens are the ones that have red bits on their heads, while coots have white bits, hence the saying "Bald as a coot". They are closely related, though.

OK - entry for bottle (xxxxxx) that's bottom but I can't write that. Here goes: "If you want your bottom as flat as this - do sit ups" BTW, to vet Verbranden - if confused as to whether a Coot or Moorhen - we simply refer to them as "Moots" - it's easier and we've discovered a new species. Sarah
