In this week's edition, all creatures great and googley-eyed go eyeball to eyeball, as the triple-tag-team of a fish, snail and bee challenge a pair of alien-fish to a duel. Or does that make it a brawl? You can place your votes here by "liking" which hat you prefer.
A googley fish, snail and bee.
If you can tell us exactly what these are then you'll win an overriding sense of relief and relaxation from us.
Last week, the psychedellic squids took poll position over the rasta-bonanza, a big congratulations to Shirley Boyle.

I thinks these are sharks.

it would be a lot less wasteful if your knitters knitted blanket squares and these were then sewn together and given to people who are cold.
knitting stupid little hats that get mostly thrown in the bin is incredibly wasteful from an environmental perspective.
I deliberately stop buying these drinks when they have the hats because they're such a stupid waste. donating money for people to do it doesn't make it better.

i like the knitted hats. i would never throw them in the bin. my kids use them as hats for their toys, and i have also given some back to innocent to use for the next big knit. but the more knitting the better as far as i'm concerned and i also like the idea of blanket squares!

I like the hats too, Lucinda, and am saddened that the above poster has such a strong reaction against them :(
My Mum keeps all the ones she's bought for the year, and hides them around the house on the heads of ornaments, much to her amusement and my Dad's despair. Then she returns them for the following year's campaign. So if lots of people do this, technically the same hat will continue to make a contribution, year on year.
