March 04, 2010

Comments

I have always classed the first day of spring as the 21st March, it seems it is a Met office thing to change that to 1st March but what do they know?? i am still awaiting this BBQ summer they promised

Way too early to say spring has sprung, at least wait until I've finished my walk down the UK or you'll put the curse of freezing rain on it!

it's croci! haha! I love plurals!

I don't think so - the goddess Demeter is preparing for her daughters return - spring is definitely here in my opinion!

One of my Year 8s looked at the date written on the board and asked: "Is it March now? Is that why the sun's out?"

I -so- wanted to say yes...

I moved to sunny Arizona USA about 4 years ago from Wales. So I have forgotten what a season is! I don't miss the UK rain, but I do miss the beauty of a new spring :-)

Crocuses hidden spring time gems

Doesn't anyone else celebrate St David's Day (Dewi Saint)? 1st March is always the first of Spring in my opinion

Even if there's a blizzard
