Please say hello to our December smoothie of the month , festive fruits and spices
Less fattening than eggnog and minus the hangover of mulled wine excess, this spicy festive recipe is like Christmas in a bottle (without the pine needles, brussel sprout sandwiches and rubbish presents).
Plus it tastes smashing warmed up in a mug. Even more reason to glug it down this season.
It's the final recipe for 2008 and what a year it's been.

I LOVED the lemon, honey and ginger one. Very reviving. Please can it be a winter regular?

Bring back the lemon and ginger magic, I can't handle the spice

Please can we never suffer blackcurrants and gooseberries again! Please! I just order seven smoothies of the month every week from Ocado, and they never specify what they are on their website, so I take pot luck. I was defeated by that particular smoothie, which was horribly bitter. And make lemon, honey and ginger permanent please as I can't get enough of it!

I totally agree with the Lemon, Honey and Ginger comments above, it is a great winter treat, full of goodness and wonderful flavour. It would be great to have it all through the winter to help with the sniffles and sore throats!
