question time

The questionnaires for our AGM are flooding in thick and fast, as you can see on our Flickr group. If you'd like to have a go, then download the colourful version, or fill in the slightly simpler online one.
A few days ago we also asked you all to start submitting the questions that you've always wanted to ask about innocent, and we've had lots of great ones already.
Here are just a few of the questions we've had so far:
Why oh why do you have to stick bananas in everything you make?... Could you please either stop putting bananas in them all, or stop advertising them and making me feel very jealous? Lynda, The National Banana Allergy Sufferer's Association*
*Lynda would like to point out that this is not a real association. She made it up.
Who finds all the amazing websites that you put on links at the bottom of your news letters? Tina, London
Hi guys! How comes all of your advertised jobs require a degree? I'd love to work at innocent but chose not to go to uni, are all my hopes lost, or are you flexible on this? Alix, London
Just why aren't you organic, guys? Annabel, Axbridge
We'd love to hear some more - anything from how we choose what fruit goes into which recipe through to where Richard gets his chest waxed.
So don't be shy, post your burning questions below or email them to our AGM email address.
The innocent family will then choose the top five to be asked on the day from our shortlist next week.

I would love to work at innocent. Do you advertise all your roles through your website? or is it worth sending your CV in stating what job you are looking for and then waiting for a response?

Hello Other Hannah
Your best bet is to look at our jobs page
http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/us/?Page=working_at_innocent_drinks
There are proper instructions on there on how to apply for a job here.
Good luck

Hello, I've been wondering for some time why you don't use British fruit a bit more. At this time of year it's probably not possible (though our rhubarb comes up a treat about now) but in the Summer and Autumn you could maybe use some in your seasonal smoothies. Particularly orchard fruits like pears, plums, peaches and nectarines - you seem to have missed these guys out and I don't like to think of them standing on the sidelines all sad because they weren't picked by the popular kids to be in their team.

Hello
Just a quick note to say please keep your questions coming to ask Rich, Jon and Adam at the AGM.
The top 20 will be posted up here on Tuesday 22nd for everyone to vote on and whittle down to five.
Those will be the five that we'll ask at the AGM on the 26th.
We'll answer every single question afterwards on the website.
Bye for now

I have a few questions!
1. Isn't trying to stretch innocent into new markets, such as water with This Water and the rumoured Breakfast Pot, taking away focus from the core smoothie business... just as you are being taken on hotter competition?
Which leads to question 2:
2. Tropicana Smoothies look good, taste good, and have the might of Pepsi behind them... threat or not?
3. How to have funds to grow without selling out to Coke/Unilever/a.n.other big company which is what happened to Odwalla in the USA and to PJs?
How 'bout taking the AGM one step further and selling shares to the innocent family as a way of raising money?!
Looking forward to the AGM big time.

Am I being too naive or has every big business been small once?
Why do people tend to think of business giants like Pepsi, Coke, Cadbury’s or McD’s as the ones everybody will end up selling out to?
Plus there’s a new scene out there – and maybe space for new sustainable giants...
(call me delusional but I’d like to see innocent becoming as big as the big ones)
And yeah. Looking forward to the AGM too.

I'd like to know what is so bad about concentrating rather than freezing your juice/smoothie to transport it?

Hello Miriam
That's a great question. We've already chosen our top twenty questions for our drinkers to vote on; you can vote yourself via this blog post http://innocentdrinks.typepad.com/innocent_drinks/2008/04/its-up-to-you.html
We'll add your question to our big list of questions to answer after the AGM on our website. Watch this space.
Bye for now

Liz, there was a smoothie last year with only british fruits in it. this is the page about it...

Sure they'll try to do something similar again. Anything to knock off some carbon output, you know what they're like!
