monday makes you get it wrong

Dsc06462

Today has been tough for our Ben. Not only is it the day after Sunday, when people feel tired and confused, it's also the day when he put odd shoes on before he left the house. He assures us that it's not a fashion thing; it's a cock up. Poor Ben.

It was dark(ish)...I was tired and in a rush...at least I got them on the right feet this time.

it must have been the extra half an hour you spent on your hair that distracted you this morning. better luck tomorrow

i wonder if he forgot to put on pants this morning.... at least he's got trousers :D

Ben it must be the day for it. I jumped on a train I thought was bound for East Didsbury (10 mins away). It wasn't. It was for Newcastle (a couple of hours away). Thankfully I found out in time.

It looks like he did it on purpose just to get a post...

I did this a few weeks ago. i was in a rush to catch the bus for a big night out, and couldnt decide on what shoes to wear so tried one of each on with my jeans, then got distracted and ended up leaving the house like it!

i once lost one of my shoes as i was getting on the tube -it fell on the tracks under the train. not a good look, hobbling around london with one foot shod and one foot unshod. and in the middle of winter too. silly girl.

It's ok Ben, I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago, also on a monday. Monday is shoe fail day.

I bet he has another pair similar to this at home only the other way around!!! Funny how it is like that!!

Ben,

Fear not my son for you clearly have infinately more wisdom than Simon! :)

Oh bless you. I went to work a few months ago in black court shoes, one with a coloured bit and one plain black. Did I feel silly once my assistant noticed and told everyone!!! I now feel better as I am clearly in good company.

Ah Ben! I've never done anything like this before (reading the comments you'd think it was a daily occurence!). I did however leave my house in my slippers though.

Ben I could swear you've done this before... wasn't one of your MMM facts about you putting on the wrong shoes or socks... I think JT is right...

Just say it is an old Irish custom which is done on your birthday!

On the morning of my wedding I opened the box with my brand new shoes in and found I had one light grey shoe and one black shoe! Not a great start to my Big Day!!!

i think that is soooooooooooo funky!!!! i want odd shoes!!!
