gavin's wallpaper competition

Gav

This is Gav. Gav looks after our big fridge, keeps our small fridges stocked up with smoothies for us to drink through the day and lets us all in every morning. Just like Conor used to do.

Gav has got a new project for you. He wants to cover our lockers in different bits of wallpaper as they're pretty boring at the minute. All you have to do is cut out a bit of left over wallpaper (everyone's got a bit somewhere or another) at 45cm by 45cm and send it to us here at Fruit Towers.

To make things a bit more exciting we're going to make it into a competition as well. For every bit or wallpaper you send to us, choose one of the lockers (a/b/c/d/or e) as shown behind Gav in the top picture. We've put a selection of random items in each along with 10 smoothies. Like this...

Dsc01900

Then we jiggled them all about. If you can correctly guess which locker the smoothies ended up in we'll put your name in a hat and draw a winner who'll get all of the smoothies. It's a bit like The Generation Game but more low tech.

And to prove that we didn't cheat we've already filmed the winning box, we just won't show the end of the film until we draw the prize.

Just write your name, address, email address, contact number and the locker you think the prize is in on the back of your wallpaper and send it to us at this address by Friday February 29th.

Good luck.

I could do with some loo roll actually, any chance of a draw for that too?

How are you going to decide which locker gets which wallpaper? I think you should do it thus: put pictures of everybody on the website and pictures of the wallpaper and then people could come to your website and match the faces up to the wallpaper they think best suits them.

Oooo I want those pink furry balls O.O

new shoes?
or perhaps old shoes...?
mmmMMMmmm!!!

what size are the shoes ?
XX

What about the top right locker? :-/

cant you see abiy... the top right locker has a padlock... thus meaning its got something special inside... perhaps a tunnel to a magical world... or all the secrets of smoothies...

So far we've had 4 bits of wallpaper in, including a glittery pink piece with latex effect and hearts all over it. Without sounding like I want to see one of your bedrooms, I'd love to see a whole wall covered in this. Thanks for sending them in, they'll look fantastic when they go up.
I must say a special thanks to Miranda for being the first to send hers in. So, thanks.

We'll start putting the wallpaper up once we get a few more bits sent in, so go rummage through the loft and let us know of any other fantastic finds, like a Monet. Or Jumanji.

And as for what's behind the locked cupboard, your guess is as good as mine. It may well be a secret door into a magical place, or it could be Henry the Hoover's home. Who knows. Let's do another competition. I'll try finding out what's behind the locked cupboard and if you guess correctly, you get 10 smoothies in the post. Answers on the back of your wallpaper. Or on the back of your Monet, preferably.
