the innocent village fete day two

Blue skies and sunshine for the second day running. How lucky are we? Someone must have had a word with Michael Fish. Here are some of the many highlights from Sunday...

1

People enjoying the shade. Thank you trees.

2

Even more bunting making with the Girl Guides.

3

People dropping by for a stitch or two in our knitting tent.

4

Cheerleaders reaching for the skies on the village green.

Dog agility by persuasion on the village green.

6

Sack races in the sunshine.

A very high standard of alfresco dancing.

And our drinks continued to prove a popular attraction...

Your fete looks like the best thing this summer. I wish you'd come to Glasgow. We have many fine parks - The Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Park, Pollock Park, Queens Park...

Maybe next year?

I went to your village fete on Sunday and I must say it was an excellent day, well afternoon more like as I arrived a bit late!

I took along my mum and sister and they both had an excellent time. We all won something from the hoopla stall, a first!

The weather added to the great atmosphere and was boiling! Everyone was really friendly.

I'd never been to Fruitstock, but I want to go back to the Village Fete next year and bring some more friends. I didn't find it too crowded but maybe I was too in awe of everything.

Congratulations and well done!

I know the weather helped but....I spent only £10 all day and we had one of the best Sundays Ive experienced in 7 years in London. Yes it was really busy, (the words victim & success spring to mind), but the atmosphere was fabulous - and for what is still a relatively small company, Innocent your organisational capacity is amazing. Highlights - Pimms on top of the bus, and dancing our flip-flops off to Geno Washington - legend!!

Wonderful day, delicious smoothies, lovely food from your friends, top chunes from the man Geno Washington and generally a wonderful summer's day.

But did you break the bunting record?

what a fantastic day , me my husband and daughter of 3 had the greatest time ever, roll on next year

Loved it! Loved the dancing, loved the music, loved the ferret racing. Will definitely go again next year. Thanks Innocent.
