making bunting

Dsc05756

We made bunting yesterday. Using old curtains, socks, glue, ribbon, potatoes, scissors, staples, glitter and some pictures of D Hasselhoff, we created loads of the stuff, in aid of our record attempt.

First, we got some instructions (feel free to use them yourself).

Then we started using all of the weapons in our bunting-making arsenal, including a potato and a Stanley knife. So tough.

Dsc05746

Helen soldiered on through the pain.

Dsc05740

Will and Abi got stapling.

Dsc05744

Sally and Mel posed for the camera.

Hoffelhass reared his head.

And by the end of the afternoon, Fruit Towers was full of bunting.

Can I please work at Fruit Towers?!

Our jobs section is here Mary. If anything takes your fancy let us know.

We'll also have a little jobs table in the 'come and say hello' area of our fete this weekend if you have any questions you'd like to ask us in person.

Ted

I wish my job involved bunting making and other such silliness. *sigh*

do you need a wonderfully multi-talented person in Devon at all?

I've long desired a job at Fruit Towers, but I'm not that keen to relocate to London. Do you by any chance have need of a crocheting/fairy cake baking/graphic designing individual in Glasgow? I'm pretty sure I could turn my hand to bunting if needs be.

In fact, I think I'll have a practice run and make some to decorate my garden this weekend.
