please say hello to this water
We'd like to share a secret with you. We're changing our juicy water. A little while ago, we realised that innocent is all about fruit, whilst juicy water is mostly about water. So we thought that a change was in order. In a few weeks time, innocent juicy water will start to be called This Water. The same tasty recipes with a nice new name - a brand new brand.
We thought we'd give you a sneak preview of what This Water will look like - there it is, at the top. And we'll post more info on the launch as it draws closer.

Hmm, doesn't quite have the same is-what-it-says-on-the-bottle ring to it...

Hello this water.

Hello
Why change something that doesn't need changed. Juicy water is what it was - 'this water' doesn't make sense. Is it 'this water' as opposed to 'that water'?
I like juicy water.

Hm. Why not just..keep them as 'Juicy waters' ? I liked that better, But I....no, I really don't like 'this water'.It just sounds....dull. Sorry Innocent, great idea, but pleaseums - keep the juicy!

Hello Innocent, I'm doing my uni finaly year coursework on Innocent, loving the company and having said that would love a job with you guys!!
Anyway getting to the point of the brand name change, juicy waters is defo better - why this water? unless you;re thinking about introducing a mineral water range or something???!!!

Hmm maybe you could do another blog explaining why you chose the name 'this water'? Not seeing the train of thought at the mo :( it's a bit bland. Not very juicy. Which is a shame becaue the drink is!

We'll be talking about This Water a bit more in the next couple of weeks, definitely. Don't want to give everything away at once...

I would agree with the horses (i.e. those who say 'nay' - sorry, crap joke, but I'm not well...). I think you need to fire whoever it was in your branding dept who came up with that. 'Juicy Water' was descriptive - it was exactly what it said on the bottle - water with yummy juices in. 'This Water' is meaningless. You could have run competition to find a name.
Or is it along the lines of 'I Can't Believe it's Not Water'. Oh, wait, it is.
Aftab, they already do spring water. It comes in a 500ml bottle with a sports cap and an 'innocent' cloud on the label. Not sure whether on 'general release' as it were, but they certainly sell it at Fruitstock.
The other thing I can think of is that it's the start of a sentence along the lines of 'this water can/will...'
Am I close...?

Sarah - you're close. We want to do more than just juicy water. There's a whole world of water out there...
PS the Fruitstock water is a one-off. We've never sold it in the shops.

Just been reading the ingredients on a 'This water' label. It says, rather bizaarly, 'Some sugar'. How much, exactly, is 'some sugar' and why are you adding any at all. I thought you were all for healthy drinks?

Hi Sea,
Dan posted a reply to this very same question on another post about 'This Water' you may also be interested in:

The explanation goes a little something like this...
"The recipes are exactly the same as they were before - juicy water contained sugar and so do these. The blunt reason is that they taste better with a bit of sugar. And we like our drinks to taste better. Both the lemon & lime and the cranberries & raspberries recipes are way too sharp and sour without it.
The principle we followed when inventing these recipes was to do exactly as your gran would do when making homemade lemonade. Only use what you'd find in the kitchen. No sugar substitutes, no corn syrup, no aspartame, no 'extracts' - use ingredients that people understand and that are natural."
